The Exorcist was released December 26, 1973. I did not do all of the locations on my visit to DC, but I wanted to make sure I stopped by the iconic house and steps! Coincidentally, I was here the week before the 50th anniversary of the original release, which was a fun added bonus.

The house and the steps really are located right next to each other, although a false wing was added to the house for the movie so that the window was plausibly close enough to the steps.
