The Purge: Election Year was released July 1, 2016. Although it is set in DC, most of it was filmed in Rhode Island in the cities of Providence & Woonsocket. I haven’t visited those locations yet, but I did want to get shots of the DC landmarks featured in the movie. There are surprisingly few, other than a nice shot of the Lincoln Memorial all purged out.
