Hell Fest was released on September 28, 2018, and follows a group of friends who are stalked by a real killer inside of an amusement park-sized haunted Halloween attraction. I thought it was a fun movie, and the colorful theme park setting has only grown on me on subsequent rewatches.
Hell Fest itself was filmed at Six Flags White Water in Marietta, GA in early 2018 before it reopened for the season. They did a pretty good job of disguising it, although you can see a few of the kiddie pool mushrooms in the wide shots!
The apartment building in the early scenes as well as The Other/the killer’s house are located on the backlot at Pangaea Studios in Atlanta, GA which I don’t believe is open to the public so I didn’t get pictures there. But fun fact – the apartment building and the house are literally the same structure. One side looks like an apartment building but the opposite looks like a house.

This is actually outside the main park (though inside the parking lot). It appears to be an unused entrance, or something to do with the small American Adventures amusement park that used to be located right next door to White Water.

These old lockers don’t appear to be in use anymore, but I was thrilled they were still there!
This was awesome you did this!
