The Haunting of Hill House was released on Netflix on October 12, 2018. It is a reimagining of the novel by Shirley Jackson that was also the basis for The Haunting (1963) and The Haunting (1999). It was directed by Mike Flanagan and was filmed in Georgia.
Truth be told, I’ve never done the locations for this because I was annoyed I couldn’t get to Hill House itself! Formerly known as Bishop Manor and currently called Alta Vista, it is a private residence located in LaGrange, Georgia. Fingers crossed it still happens one day…
