Little Darlings was released on March 21, 1980. It stars Tatum O’Neal and Kristy McNichol as two teenage girls from opposite sides of the tracks who meet at summer camp, form a rivalry/friendship, and make a bet to see which one can lose their virginity first that summer.
It’s a teen drama/comedy, not a horror movie, but it does have one very cool horror connection: it was filmed at Camp Daniel Morgan, which is the very same camp featured in Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives.
The camp is in Rutledge, GA and is part of Hard Labor Creek State Park. They are fan friendly and allow you to explore the camp, which is still rented out as a functioning group camp, as long as it’s not reserved. I’ve been there several times, but on my most recent trip I wanted to get some photos for the other movies filmed there since I’m usually focused exclusively on Jason!
Some other movies filmed here include Poison Ivy (1985) starring Michael J. Fox & Nancy McKeon, They/Them (2022), and Fear Street (2021) had at least one shot filmed here, although it was mostly filmed at the other camp inside Hard Labor Creek, Camp Rutledge.
Movie Location: Camp Little Wolf
Filming Location: Camp Daniel Morgan, in Hard Labor Creek State Park

If you are looking to visit Camp Daniel Morgan, I recommend calling the Hard Labor Creek office first to make sure it’s open and not reserved. Then just swing by the main park office and you can get the keys for Camp Daniel Morgan.
