Discovery Channel’s long running series ‘A Haunting’ started in 2002 with two feature length episodes, A Haunting in Connecticut & A Haunting in Georgia. Both of them scared the crap out of 9-year-old me, and I always wanted to visit both of the houses. When I went to Connecticut in 2019 to see the locations from The House of the Devil, I also made a point to stop by the infamous haunted house in Southington, CT. As documented in the show, it used to be a funeral home but is now a private residence. The documentary gives the last name Parker for the family, although their real last name was Snedeker.
