Ready or Not was released on August 21, 2019. Samara Weaving stars as Grace, a newlywed bride who is hunted by her new family in a deadly game of hide and seek.
The entire movie takes place at the estate of the Le Domas family. The movie was filmed in and around Toronto. Some interior scenes were filmed at Casa Loma, a house museum in Toronto, although I did not get any comparison photos there.
The exterior of the mansion is Parkwood Estate in Oshawa. It was originally the home of Samuel McLoughlin, founder of General Motors of Canada. Construction began in 1916. It was designated as a National Historic Site in 1989. Parkwood Estate and the grounds are free to visit, and it was a nice peaceful little spot to walk around for a bit, so I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.
