Halloween II is special for being the first movie I can personally remember coming to film in my hometown of Covington. I knew Covington had been in The Dukes of Hazzard and In The Heat of the Night, and I had seen it in Friday the 13th Part 6 as well, but before Rob Zombie came here for Halloween II I feel like there was a major lull in filming. It is commonplace now, but Halloween II felt like a *big deal* when it was filmed here. I’ve been to all of these locations countless times since they are all pretty close to me, and they still are exciting every time.

I am also including a picture I took of this house in, gosh I don’t know, 2010 or 2011. For a few years after filming, it just sat there empty and one time I drove out and the gate was open so I snapped a few pics up close. It has been purchased and renovated since. It also appears in the Disney Movie ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green.’
