URBAN LEGEND (1998)

Urban Legend was released on September 25, 1998. An axe-wielding killer terrorizes a college campus, with each murder suspiciously resembling a famous urban legend…

This is one of my favorites. I can remember watching it for the first time so vividly. I had already seen Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, and this fit right in and I loved it. I’ve watched it many times over the years, and it always holds up as a fun slasher with great kill scenes and a killer reveal for the ages.

The movie is set at Pendleton University, supposedly in New England, but it was filmed in and around Toronto, Ontario.
