IT (2017)

It was released on September 8, 2017. As I’m sure most everyone knows, it’s based on the 1986 novel by Stephen King and is the second adaptation after the 1990 TV version starring Tim Curry. It follows the loser club, a group of seven kids who encounter a shapeshifting entity that often takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown (played this time by Bill Skarsgård) in their small town in Derry, Maine.

The 2017 version filmed in Ontario, Canada. Some locations are scattered around Toronto, but the main attraction is the town of Port Perry, which played Derry, Maine. It’s about an hour east of Toronto, and it was a great spot to spend a few hours walking around. All of the locations are right there close together and it’s just a neat little town all on its own.
